The Alexander Technique is a method that teaches you to be more aware of your body, and can help improve posture and movement. The Technique can teach people with Parkinson's how to better manage physical symptoms; improve posture, balance and gait; and more. The method can also be used to reduce anxiety and stress and increase confidence. Julie piloted the Parkinson’s/Alexander Technique program at the Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Educational Center, and teaches the Alexander Technique both at CAL Arts University to private clients.
