He is currently an attending physician at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center, as well as the chief medical officer for The Foot and Ankle Care Center. He is board certified in foot surgery by the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery, and skilled at both the medical and surgical treatment of foot and ankle issues. This free event includes panel discussions with patients, physicians, and researchers. Among the speakers are Movement Disorders Specialists Jeff Bronstein, MD, PhD from UCLA and Michele Tagliati, MD, FAAN, from Cedars-Sinai. This is a free event. She holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Nutritional Science. She currently travels to different hospital facilities around the country to provide medical nutrition therapy. Jelena also works with private clients with Parkinson’s disease by providing them with personalized nutrition counseling and diet plans. She became passionate about helping individuals living with Parkinson’s disease from a personal experience caring for her father with Parkinson’s. As part of her graduate research project, she published research that explored the therapeutic role that nutrition can play in managing Parkinson’s disease.
