About our speaker:

Jelena Etemovic, MS, RDN is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. She holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Nutritional Science. She currently travels to different hospital facilities around the country to provide medical nutrition therapy. Jelena also works with private clients with Parkinson’s disease by providing them with personalized nutrition counseling and diet plans. She became passionate about helping individuals living with Parkinson’s disease from a personal experience caring for her father with Parkinson’s. As part of her graduate research project, she published research that explored the therapeutic role that nutrition can play in managing Parkinson’s disease. Her research was used to create a cookbook that focused on foods rich in antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids. Jelena enjoys cooking and using food as medicine by creating meals that are nutritious and easy to prepare.
