Fun Fitness: Stretch, Strengthen and Sway!

Join us for a fun and interactive exercise class incorporating agility and balance, strength training, and dance. All levels are welcome, and all movements can be modified as needed. No special equipment is necessary. Don’t have weights? Grab a water bottle! This weekly class is led by Jann Karam. You can view archived classes on our Youtube channel.

Jann Karam began her fitness career in New York City where she trained to teach Aerobics, Dance, Cardio-sculpt and Stretch. Since then, Jann has taught a wide variety of fitness formats including Aerobics, Sculpt, mat Pilates, Yoga, Stretch, Silver Sneakers and Spinning in many of Los Angeles’s premier gyms and fitness centers. Her vast education and expertise, along with her unique teaching style, help to create a challenging, informative, safe, and enjoyable fitness experience for all levels. For many years, until the Covid lockdown, Jann held regular Senior Fitness classes at The Westside Jewish Community Center.

“My senior class is lots of fun: it’s a mashup of all the formats that most people want to include in their exercise routines,” Jann explains. “It’s a combination of stretching, strengthening, balance, agility, weights, dance, and relaxation techniques that make for a great workout and help to improve the students’ overall health and well-being.”
